Bio-based products are defined as those composed in whole or large part of renewable agricultural or forestry materials. The term "bioproducts" is short for biomass products, and can be used to describe a chemical, material, or other product derived from renewable biomass resources. AgriTone is a premium replacement toner cartridge containing toner made with renewable bio-resources. Powered by BioBlack™ toner, AgriTone cartridges boast the imaging industry's highest concentration of bio-content according to an independent third party.

BioBlack™ toner is made using a bio-based resin with proprietary patent-pending toner formulation. The bio-based resin in turn is made using various agriculturally derived materials, which may include corn, cottonseed and soy. BioBlack™ specially-formulated toner contains 35+% bio-content.
